About Me

I’ve always been into fitness, but I become much more committed to it as I approached middle age. Pole, aerials, and Pilates have taught me that the best kind of fitness is fun and creative.

  • In my early 40s, I realized I wasn’t moving as much as I used to, and I noticed that the little bit of fitness I practiced was uninspiring. So I tried pole fitness because it sounded different and interesting.

    It turned out that it was both of those things, but also incredibly difficult. It was more physically challenging than anything I’d tried before. I quickly became much stronger and more muscular, and I noticed that my flexibility had improved.

    Most importantly, I felt better — more alive and confident — and then everything else in my life began to improve as well.

    Soon, pole fitness led to other types of aerial fitness — aerial hammocks, aerial silks, lyra, and trapeze. Like pole, aerials proved to be an outlet for creativity and a fun way to become stronger and more confident.

    Over the past several years, I’ve become certified to teach pole fitness, aerial hammock and lyra, and mat Pilates. I love sharing these practices with people of all ages and supporting them as they also gain strength and confidence.

Aerial hammock and silks

Aerial hammock and silks bring together a unique blend of strength and flexibility (and aerial tricks for those who are interested!)

  • Using a soft fabric hammock suspended from the ceiling, you'll explore poses both in the air and on the ground, learning how to wrap, swing, balance, and invert safely.

    The hammock combines elements of yoga, dance, and aerial arts to build core strength, increase flexibility, and improve body awareness.

    Perfect for beginners and experienced movers alike, the fabric meets you where you are.

Mat Pilates

Strengthen from the inside out with mat Pilates — a low-impact, core-focused workout designed to improve strength, posture, and flexibility.

  • Using just your body weight and simple props like resistance bands or small balls, you'll move through controlled exercises that target the deep core muscles, glutes, hips, and back. This class emphasizes precision, breath, and alignment, helping to build strength, stability, and balance.

    Suitable for all fitness levels, mat Pilates is a mindful yet powerful way to tone your body, support joint health, and enhance everyday movement.

Lyra (Aerial hoop)

Step into the ring with lyra, a dynamic and empowering experience that builds strength, grace, and confidence in the air.

  • The aerial hoop will be your apparatus for learning poses, spins, balances, and flowing transitions. You will develop upper body and core strength, improve flexibility, and explore creative movement both inside and around the hoop.

    Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, you’ll have a safe, fun, and challenging workout that will leave you feeling strong, confident, and inspired.
